陕西省农村妇女科技服务中心（以下简称中心）成立于1997年9月，由西北农林科技大学女性农业科技专家组成。拥有专家志愿者128名，其宗旨是“让农业科技更快更有效地传播”。 The Shaanxi Province Science and Technology Service Center for Rural Women (hereinafter referred to as The center) was established in September 1997 by the women experts of agricultural science and technology from Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University. The center has 128 volunteers. Its purpose is to disseminate the agricultural science and technology faster and more effectively. 中心成立之初，定位主要在科技服务行动上。这些专家学者在做好本职教学和科研的同时，将自己的知识志愿、无偿地为农村服务，取得了显著的成效，受到党和政府的高度赞扬和广大农民朋友特别是农村妇女的拥戴，2004年被评为陕西省“三八红旗先进集体”，2006年被评为全国“三八红旗先进集体”，2011年被评为陕西省优秀志愿者团体。机构中有18名志愿者被评为全国、省、杨凌区“巾帼建功”标兵，32人被评为全国、省和杨凌区“三八红旗手”。 At the beginning when the center was established, the center focused on providing science and technology service. While finishing their own teaching and research work, the experts provided consulting service to rural area voluntarily without any charge. The center made outstanding achievements. It was highly praised by the Communist Party and the governments. The center was also strongly supported by a lot of farmers, especially female farmers. In 2004, the center was recognized as a “March 8thwomen’s advanced collective” by Shaanxi Province. In 2006, the center was recognized as a national “March 8th women’s advanced collective”. In 2011, the center was recognized as an outstanding volunteer group in Shaanxi Province. 18 volunteers of the center were recognized as “Over-achieving women models’ of China, Shaanxi Province and/or Yangling District. 32 volunteers from the center were recognized as “March 8th model women workers” of China, Shaanxi Province, and Yangling District. 2000年后，中心开始逐渐由单纯的科技服务行动转向农业科技传播等“行动＋研究”。相继成立了“巾帼农业科技专家团”、“社会性别与发展研究所”、“社会性别与参与式科技传播培训小组”、“农村专业合作社培训小组”、“农村妇女能力建设培训小组”，农业科技传播与服务项目有了增加，取得了令人瞩目的成绩，逐渐形成了自己重点关注的领域：社会性别与农业科技传播、农村妇女发展与农业科技推广、社会性别教育与倡导、社会性别与环境保护、社会性别与农村专业合作社等。中心以“社会性别与农业科技传播”理论与实践上的先导性和高质量的项目赢得了良好的声誉，筹款渠道不断扩大，与国内外7家资助机构形成了良好的伙伴关系，执行项目28个，项目点覆盖陕西省26个县，累计筹集经费2500万，已经为全省98个县开展技术服务、技术咨询，有38万农民参加技术培训和技术咨询，培训中级农民技术员450名作为农业技术传播的“二传手”，并在“农高会”上展风采；为西部6省9个县180科技人员进行农业技术传播理论与方法的培训，举办了三届农业技术传播网络年会暨学术研讨会，将农业科技传播的新理论和方法进行复制、扩大；与杨凌电视台合作举办半边天农业科技大讲堂40期，向农林卫视推荐播放，农业科技传播的范围越来越广。 Since 2000, the organization started to shift from pure science and technology service to an“action + research” model to disseminate agricultural science and technology. The center has formed the “Women Expert Panel of Agricultural Science and Technology”, the “Gender and Development Institute”, the “Training Group for Rural Professional Cooperative”, and the “Training Group for Rural Women”. The center has even more projects for disseminating agricultural science and technology, and made outstanding achievements. The center has gradually developed its own topics and issues, such as social gender and dissemination of agricultural science and technology, rural women's development and the popularization of agricultural science and technology, social gender education and advocacy, social gender and environment protection, social gender and rural professional cooperative, and etc. The theoretical advantage and high project quality of “Social gender and dissemination of agricultural science and technology” raised the reputation of the organization. The channels for fund raising have been continuously expanded. The center has very good partner relationship with seven international and domestic sponsoring organizations. The center has finished 28 projects, which covers 26 counties of Shaanxi Province. The center has raised RMB 25 million, provided consulting service to 98 counties in Shaanxi. The technology training and consulting service have been provided to 38 thousands farmers. The center has trained 450 intermediate technicians, who serve as agricultural technology disseminators and demonstrate their capabilities in “Agricultural High Technology Exhibition”. The center has provided training of agricultural technology to 180 scientific and technical personnel from 9 counties of 6 provinces. Three annual conferences of agricultural technology dissemination were held by the center. It has duplicated and expanded the new theory of agricultural technology dissemination, and has also worked with Yangling TV Station to host 40 seminars of agricultural technology for women, which have been broadcasted by the satellite TV station of Agriculture and Forestry. Because of all these efforts, the dissemination range of agricultural science and technology has become more and more extensive. 同时对农业科技传播效率、方法、模式创新进行里深入的研究，创建“性别敏感的参与式农业技术传播模式和网络”已经收录到改革开放30年农业发展研究报告中，相关的35篇论文正式发表，并出版专著5部，研究的深度和广度收到国内外学者的高度赞扬。 The center has also done in-depth study on dissemination efficiency, dissemination methods, and creative models of agricultural science and technology. "The gender sensitive dissemination models and network" created by the center has been indexed to research reports of 30 year agricultural development.35 research papers and 5 professional books have been published by the center.
